Simplifies processes & reduces workload.

Teleinformatik Services AG has been successfully using Exxas in the company for over 5 years. The IT service provider from Zurich expanded its product portfolio with the ERP solution in autumn 2022. “Today, we would no longer be able to work efficiently without Exxas. We would like to share this success with our customers,” says Claude Arnold, CEO of Teleinformatik. In an interview, Claude Arnold and Giorgio Vincenti talk more about the introduction of Exxas in their own company and the reasons for launching it.

You are introducing the Swiss business solution Exxas as a new product for your customers. What is Exxas and what are the reasons for its launch?

Claude Arnold: Exxas is a comprehensive all-in-one ERP system that combines everything from ticketing systems to time recording, project planning to offer and order processing, invoicing, creditors and debtors on one platform.

Since replacing our old ERP and ticketing system, we have been using Exxas extremely successfully for more than 5 years. The starting point was that we wanted to combine our individual ERP and software solutions in order to simplify our processes and significantly reduce our workload. Today, we could no longer work efficiently without Exxas. We would like to share this success with our customers.

What makes Exxas stand out and how does this business software differ from other solutions?

Claude Arnold: The operation is very intuitive, simple and the presentation is very clear, so you can get started right away. Exxas is web-based, access is guaranteed from anywhere and you don't have to install anything locally on the computer. It is a cross-sector solution that is tailored to the service sector such as commercial companies, law firms, trust offices, IT service providers and other sectors in the SME sector. In terms of costs, Exxas is significantly cheaper than other business ERP solutions. As a Swiss product, it includes all updates and new functions are constantly being integrated. The fair costs for data migration should be mentioned in particular. In general, the initial effort required to switch from a current solution to a new ERP solution is very manageable.

What opportunities does the business platform offer SMEs?

Giorgio Vincenti: The key advantage of this ERP solution is clear: the simplification and centralization of business processes. This gives the customer significantly more time to focus on day-to-day business. Different and mutually independent solutions are often used for various tasks: time recording, order management or billing tools. And sometimes invoices are even created manually. An ERP must be able to offer these options from a single source, which massively simplifies internal IT and does not have to maintain multiple tools. Another particularly advantageous feature of Exxas is the dashboard, which allows you to work efficiently in a team and promote collaboration. This includes delegation and tracking of tasks, joint order management with simple project functionalities, time recording or an overview of activities for everyone in the team. Furthermore, the entire Exxas platform can be operated from the cloud, so that the customer does not need their own server infrastructure. Customers can create another particularly large competitive advantage with the online customer center, which is already included in Exxas and can be expanded individually.

How long does it take to roll out Exxas?

Giorgio Vincenti: Basically pretty fast. For startups, for example, Exxas can be launched in a very short time, as they often start out on the green field. For established companies, it depends on the size of the company and the software currently in use. The scope of existing data that is transferred and processes that are mapped are decisive for migration and integration. Experience has shown that an implementation project takes around three months.

What experiences have you had with the introduction of Exxas in your own company?

Giorgio Vincenti: The experience was very good and we would do it again today. Before we introduced Exxas, we had three different systems in use. One tool for time recording, another for order management/CRM and one for reporting the services provided. This led to a great deal of administrative work for administration and employees. After the introduction of Exxas, all platforms were centralized in one place and the individual functions harmonized with each other. Efficiency increased rapidly. Today, we can't imagine working without Exxas. Other positive experiences include the continuous development of the solution with new functions and the very intuitive, web-based interface. Important changes, such as the switch to QR-bills, worked right away.
