Document editor
Thanks to the document editor, you can open and edit files such as those from Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office or CAD programs, and save them directly using the integrated functions of the apps — without caching the files.
For document management, we've developed the app Document editor. You can download and install this application from the apps section in Exxas. The document editor is also offered to you when you open a document for the first time using the edit function.
With the document editor, documents saved in Exxas, such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop, can be opened, edited and saved again directly. There is no need for caching anymore. The document editor keeps the connection to the open document in the background. Each time you save the document to the program, the document is saved in Exxas and a new version is created.
The document editor is displayed as a small icon in your task bar. As soon as the editor is activated, you will be shown a notification. The document editor requires hardly any system resources and is automatically activated when the system starts.
