Accounting

The new integrated accounting significantly expands the range of solutions offered by Exxas. You can now handle your entire financial accounting directly on the familiar platform. The accounting covers both general and subsidiary ledgers. Financial accounting is included in all subscriptions. Starting January 12, 2024, you can begin automating your accounting processes.

With Exxas 5.0, you have the option to keep accounting integrated with Exxas. Of course, you can continue to use the integrations with Topal, Infoniqa 50 and Abacus financial accounting systems. The new accounting includes both general and subsidiary books. It can be used in conjunction with Exxas' ERP and CRM functions as an integrated solution or as an independent accounting system. Accounting, like all functions, is also accessible via the iOS and Android app.

Bookings are checked
The built-in verification functionality carries out over 130 checks every time you enter it in the booking mask. This helps the user to enter only correct and balanced bookings. The audit includes sales tax codes, cost centers, foreign currencies and much more.

Booking templates
Create booking templates and routines to automate recurring transactions, such as rental expenses.

Journal
The transparent journal makes it easy to track every booking. With just one click, the linked activity, such as accounts receivable and vendor invoices, opens.

Save accounting documents
You can attach documents, save receipts and securely store all relevant documents for every transaction you enter. This supports complete documentation of your financial transactions.

Collective documents
In order to minimize time and effort, it is possible to book several business cases in one collective document.

Cost centers and foreign currencies
Accounting supports the use of cost centers as well as foreign currencies.

Automated recording of differences
Amounts from discount or rounding differences are automatically posted to a defined account when payment is received.

Sales tax for Switzerland, Germany and Austria
The sales tax requirements are aimed at Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

Value-added tax (VAT) billing method: Agreed or received
When accounting with Exxas, you can choose the agreed and received settlement method for the VAT settlement. With the agreed billing method, the billing or delivery date is decisive. This includes income or expenditure in the period in which the service was provided or the goods were delivered, regardless of payment. In the case of the billing method received, the date of payment is the posting date.

Effective and balance method
With Exxas accounting, you can choose between effective taxation and net tax. With the balance method, the final amounts of the accounts are monitored and reconciled with the expected values. With the effective method, Exxas accounting reflects the actual financial figures for you by taking into account the date of effective payment.

Net and gross method
Exxas also supports the net and gross methods. Depending on which method you use, you can use taxes on the gross amount (which includes costs plus taxes) or the net method in which tax is calculated on the amount after tax deduction.

Exporting and importing data
Import charts of accounts and transactions with simple Excel templates. And of course, they are just as easy to export.

New menu for finances
The “Finances” menu has been simplified to 5 main menu items. This allows you to navigate to the desired area quickly, with just a few clicks and a simpler structure.

Prices and subscriptions
Accounting is integrated into every subscription from January 12, 2024. As a result, today's subscriptions will team and CRM into Basic as well as Pro renamed. The subscription trafficking Is used in Commerce renamed. Starting with the Pro subscription for CHF 39.- per month, the secondary books are also included thanks to the integrated CRM. All subscriptions include 2,000 bookings for all clients and financial years. This limit can be extended in a 1,000 package of CHF 15.-/month.
