“Glow-up” is the next big step
At the beginning of 2024, we started designing a new user interface for Exxas. The product team spent a whole year working on a completely new design system. Every component, every button, and every module was carefully crafted. The goal was to set new standards in design and user-friendliness—and to prepare for the use of new technologies.
We have been working on the business platform for more than 13 years. Year after year, many functions have been added to Exxas. However, as the range of functions grows, so does the complexity. This has made it more difficult for new users to get started on the platform. At the same time, the user interface is no longer uniform. The functional processes of individual modules differ from one another.
With the new design system, we are pursuing three key goals: “Create a favorite business app,” “Simplify and harmonize operation,” and “Integrate even more technology.”

Create your “favorite business app”
Exxas is used in most companies as the operating system for almost all business processes. Accordingly, it is used frequently. Exxas should be an application that users enjoy working with. The user interface should feel both professional and appealing. And, of course, it should continue to be one of the fastest. Exxas will offer three beautiful working modes: Lite, Dark, and a mode that is still secret.
Simplify and harmonize app control
Whether a user is creating an offer, editing a contact or a booking, the application should always feel the same. Users should be able to find their way around Exxas everywhere – ideally without any introductory training. Important and frequently used functions are placed more prominently. Rarely used functions are tucked away. Exxas becomes clearer and does not overwhelm the user. Of course, our aim is to make Exxas easier to use. But we also want companies and their users to make broader use of the entire platform.
Even more, leading technology
As you can easily see on our new website, we are working on some significant enhancements. These include “ex,” an AI engine based on the most advanced models from OpenAI and operated within our infrastructure. Exxas will accompany users as a wingman at work, providing intelligent and context-oriented assistance, delivering case and situation analyses, and offering generative work support. We will also deliver even more technology with integrated payroll accounting, a sophisticated access and rights system for internal and external users, and a new, integrated customer portal solution. Our roadmap is full, and we are preparing Exxas for this with the new design.

A new interface, even if it has been simplified, always requires a period of adjustment for users. For companies and organizations that already use Exxas as their operating system, “Glow-up” will be a step forward for their own business. Processes and collaboration will become more dynamic, and every team member will see that they are working in a progressive company.
Get an overview of Glow-up on our new website, which went live on June 11, 2025. All views of the business platform are already from the new interface. We cannot yet announce an exact release date for Exxas 6.0, but it will be sometime in 2025.
“With Exxas 6.0, we are entering a new phase and bringing a Swiss software company onto the big stage. Glow-up is not just a new version, but a major step forward for our company,” says Stefan Dettwiler, CEO at Exxas.
